VISION
The Municipality of Asuncion envisions itself as a socially, economically and politically stable local
government unit; with an environmentally aware and God-fearing society working harmoniously towards achieving a better quality
of life. The Municipality’s vision is in line with that of the Province of Davao del Norte; that by the Year 2004, the
Province of Davao del Norte shall have attained a self-reliant economy propelled by agri-based industrialization and stable
political system in an environment of peace and harmony with a framework of a sound sustainable ecology.
MISSION
The Mission of the municipality of Asuncion is to put in place the necessary support facilities such
as infrastructure, water and power, basic social services such as health and education programs and development policies in
order to achieve progressive and sustainable development. These shall be incorporated in a comprehensive and sustainable municipal
development plan that shall become the basis for the attainment of its vision, in order to provide a better quality of life
for its constituents.
